Its 4.50am and Ive been awake since 4.1pam and eventually decided just to get up.

The sooner the holidays end the better. i love my DCs but they are driving me mad fighting every wakimg hour. DP has escape valve of work but Im at the end of my tether. Its lovely right now.. no fighting, no noise... almost dreading them getting up.
need to buy uniform today... expensive torture.. then the bl**dy shoe shopping...

Been wide awake since 3am just can’t sleep! 22 weeks pregnant and have suffered insomnia most nights since about 16weeks. Body preparing me for what’s to come perhaps 🙈

Zoflorabore · 28/08/2018 05:04

Yes me :)

After taking a prescribed sleeping tablet....

I've got fibromyalgia and suffer terrible with insomnia but it was getting beyond a joke a few weeks ago so G.P prescribed these ( had them before, normally put me back in a rhythm ) and I've been averaging 3/4am.

I love being up before everyone else in the house but prefer 5.30/6 as I don't get exhausted throughout the day.
This is the last week of holidays for us. Dd starts year 3 next Monday and ds starts year 11 next Tuesday.

Hope everyone manages to have a good dayFlowers

listsandbudgets · 28/08/2018 05:05

Ahhb baby days and baby cuddles. Don't worry they do sleep through eventually just so exhausting until they do
How old is he?

Mummy2josh92 · 28/08/2018 05:06

Can't sleep too :( worrying about my relationship

listsandbudgets · 28/08/2018 05:07

Poor you Zoba. Fibromyalgia is so painful as well. Still at least I suppose you got some sleep but as you say 5.30 would be a better compromise

Baby is up. She usually sleeps through but I have a cold and I bet she feels rough too. I was awake anyway. She started crying and DH usefully turned the monitor off. It doesnt stop her crying though!

listsandbudgets · 28/08/2018 05:09

Morning all, I'm still awake as haven't been able to get to sleep so am de-cluttering my bedroom so I can move it around later.

So sorry you have all been awake early.

cpjoli · 28/08/2018 05:16

Yes up at 4.15am. Think my brain is reminding me it's nearly time to go back to work. Might have a nap before the rest of the house gets up.

listsandbudgets · 28/08/2018 05:18

Purole have you been awake all night? Lie down switch the light off and youll orobably drift off. Hope you get some sleep soon.

enjoy your nap cpjoli

Morning all. 38+2 pg and bad insomnia. Moved into new house last week too and finding it hard to 'settle'.

Not sure whether I'll stay up or annoyingly get sleepy again at 6.30am!

RubberBabyBuggyBumpers · 28/08/2018 05:21

Yep awake here and have been since 5am yesterday morning! Having to do uni work while the kids sleep and miscalulated the amount of proplus I would need.

On the bright side I've finished an essay, on the shitty why me side my DS has just got up so I wont be sleeping until tonight 😬

ElfrideSwancourt · 28/08/2018 05:22

Another fibromyalgia person here - I never sleep well but the early mornings really get me down in the winter it's not so bad in the summer when it's light early.

Mummy2josh92 · 28/08/2018 05:22

Lisaandbudgets Thank you.. im just dealing with personal struggles ( alot of weight gain ) and ive bagged myself an amazing guy. Punching well above my weight.. head over heals for him.. im afraid im gonna loose him due to always doubting myself. I cant even sleep anymore over it. Only 1 thing to do is stay focused.. loose the weight

listsandbudgets · 28/08/2018 05:23

Not long now Fedupeffedoff..

I can never get back to sleep- I'm going to get up and watch last night's Bodyguard in peace - hope you all get some more sleep 💤

Zoflorabore · 28/08/2018 05:25

Thanks lists

Uniform shopping is a nightmare and bloody expensive buy just think once it's done it's done.
With only a week left I'm behind where I would normally be this time of year.
Dd has the majority of hers but she's struggling to decide her backpack ( damn you Smiggles ) and needs just socks and underwear and she's done.

I haven't even made a start on ds yet and he's a size 14 shoe which makes shoe shopping a nightmare Grin

Keep repeating in your head... this time next week, this time next week...

listsandbudgets · 28/08/2018 05:38

Mummy2josh stop doubting yourself. If he didnt think you were lovely he'd not be bothering. If he really likes you he wont care about your weight. Ive been woth do nearly 20 years and varied from 10 stone to 16 stone and he still seems to think Im alright Grin Just take each day as it comes and stop telling yourself youre not good enough.. hes the lucky one

OP posts:
listsandbudgets · 28/08/2018 05:40

Its rubbish zoba. DS is an h fitting which makes shoe shopping horrendous.

DDs best friend is 12 and size 12! Her poor mum gets her mans shoes from Doc Martens but not sire if even they go up to 14.

OP posts:
listsandbudgets · 28/08/2018 05:41
