Lenor Unstoppables

I keep seeing these when I shop. It seems like all they do is add fragrance to your wash. However doesn't the washing powder already do that, and then the fabric conditioner? How many scents can you add before your clothes start to smell confused?

Do I need these things?

I got a single-use sachet of some once as a free sample. OMG it was so pungent - too pungent. Not my cup of tea.

My husband doesn't think clothes are clean unless he's added at least two scented products. The Unstoppables are definitely aimed at him.

He mixed lavender washing powder, Lenor Gold fabric conditioner (a perfumey, powdery scent), grapefruit Zoflora, and Fresh Unstoppables the other day. The stench was unholy as none of the scents matched.

Not worth it imo.

I bought these yesterday thinking they were a fabric conditioner.

Totally confused when I eventually read instructions it said add to drum and use powder and softener as usual

I'm thinking that this on top of deodorant and perfume and I'll start to smell rank!

BriocheBriocheBrioche · 27/08/2018 13:23

I bought some once as they were on offer. They smell so strong so I only tend to use them on things that aren’t going to be worn or used for a long time, like guest towels and linen.
I have thrown a few in my hoover bag too.
I wouldn’t buy them again, especially not at full price.

Lookatmemeow · 27/08/2018 13:24

In the same category as scented pantyliners Angry
Totally unnecessary chemicals IMO

ByeGermsByeWorries · 27/08/2018 13:25

I love these. I put them in the door pockets of my car and a lot in with the wash but they're expensive and doesn't last as long as I'd like once the clothes are put away

PasteSandwiches · 27/08/2018 13:31

I'm the same as a pp - use them for bedding/towels that will be stored for a while. They smell great months later and my mum has never guessed that I haven't washed her guest bedding the day before she arrives (one of her "rules")

MrsChollySawcutt · 27/08/2018 13:35

Baffled by these as well. If you want to smell perfume when wearing your clothes then wear the perfume of your choice.

Unless you want to go round smelling like a walking airwick air freshener?!?

Sounds hideous.

That would mean an instant migraine for me!

I may pick some up when we put the summer stuff away though... If it find it on sale...

I take my comments back!

I used them tonight - just a few in a 20minute wash. Left out the fabric conditioner and everything smells great - going to buy instead of fabric conditioner (or does that do additional magic things these don't?)
