Hotel won’t refund

I accidentally booked a hotel room for tonight instead of 15 December and the hotel won’t move the booking as it’s within their 24-hour cancellation policy! I don’t know what to do. It’s supposed to be a top notch hotel.

How could a booking with such very different dates be made?! Not sure there is anything you can do if it’s in the terms and conditions.

I think this is your issue really, you could plead with them to refund as a kindness but you’ve clearly booked in a rush and not double checked the details.

It sucks and could happen to anyone.

I accidently booked something for same night instead of future date once through booking.com, but they sorted it out for me on the phone.

If you literally only did it today and it was an honest mistake, i would ask to speak to the manager

Ended up speaking to the manager and they cancelled the booking. In the future I won’t get quite so excited about a great room rate and click a button without checking!

Don't worry op, I managed to book somewhere in whitby ontario rather than whitby north Yorkshire..... 🙄 🙄 🙄
