Welcoming all MN holiday hacks!

We're going to Spain with our just turned 4yr old
I've got the basics done but wondering if anyone has any genius holiday ideas that I need to know about? Grin

Ye. Pack your 4 year olds clothes in large sandwich type bags. Then each morning as you reach for her clothes everything for that outfit is in that bag.

Packing cubes. A list. Take more spares than you think you need for the 4 year old.

Put all electronic in one ziplock bag for go through security. Make it quicker.

Not genius, just common sense:-

Split clothes between suitcases in case one case gets lost.

Put a dress in your hand luggage for your dd so she can change into it when you land.

Plastic bags for dirty washing & to wrap around liquids.

Extension lead/multisocket (the place we're flying to apparently only has one plug socket in the room 😱)

Suncream in land luggage too. What time do you land? If it before check and even if not. I like to have all the pool stuff ready to go so we can start the fun straight away.

I use packing cubes but I travel a lot. Probably not worth buying them if you only travel once or twice a year.

Oh fab some good ideas, thank you!

I should have said my 4yr old is a DS so would be outraged if I stuck a dress on him SmileGrin

We will arrive at our hotel around lunchtime and DS will be making a beeline straight for the pool ("I'm a big boy now mummy, I can dive" Err no, you can't ever swim yet my love don't even think about it)
Will shove his pool bits plus sun cream (a small one under 100ml) in my hand luggage so we can transfer him straight in because he will just throw himself fully clothed and we don't need that immediately upon arrival

I'm sure he'll look smashing in a dress Grin
