Reading words without accent!?

Come to the realisation tonight that I read things in my head without an accent!

Surrey born and raised..... But I read things like classroom where I would say classRseroom or Barrrth .... I read it in my head without the southern accent!

Anyone else?

I'm from Lancashire, so both read and speak correctly. I find it disappointing how few southerners want to improve themselves by flattening their vowles and getting rid of their accents.
