I feel like I remember a lot from when I was really young (around 2-4) but sometimes i wonder if I can properly remember or if I just think i can and I've created a false memory in my mind, if that makes any sense

My earliest memories are all from when I was around 5 years old.

I remember getting a red power ranger for my birthday. I sat in my parents’ bedroom between the bed and the wardrobe to unwrap him. He was my favourite.

being taken to Woolworths with my godfather for a milk shake. Woolworths had its own smell sort of ice creamy I can still remember it.

I was 5. I remember sitting with my mum watching Elvis’s funeral on tv at my next door neighbours house. I was eating a giant meringue with cream & my mum was crying!

Lots of memories of gardening with my grandparents and "helping" My grandmother with housework. I must have been 3 or 4.

I think i can remember meeting my older half brother. I was around 3 at the time, so he was 6. I've always had this image of being in someone's living room and him trying to play fight with me but I started crying because he was being too rough and my dad telling me that's just how boys play (or something along those lines). I only realised recently that must have been my nan's living room from her old house because the set up matches exactly.

My mum was in hospital for a very long time when I was a baby and I remember not wanting to go with her when she came to take me home (I had been living with her parents) I was about 2. I was sitting in the doorway between the hall and living room and crying because I wanted to stay. That's the first thing I can remember.

I only have one clear memory from under three. I got to take some baked goodies to our upstairs neighbour by myself, while DM watched from the bottom of the stairs, and remember the pride of getting to do it all by myself. DM has no recollection of it, but says it sounds about right, so I'm pretty sure it's my actual memory. Said neighbour moved from the flat above to the house next door just before I turned three, so must have been before then.

In general, though, my memories are pretty fuzzy and unorganised all the way through my childhood.

My first memory was from about 18 months, of a day out.
