Going under a credit card balance

Hi

I have made a payment on my credit card, so the balance is around £60.

I completely forgot that I have a refund coming from a clothes store back to my credit card of around £100.

So what will happen with the difference, as I will be £40 in credit when the refund hits my account ?

It is a Barclaycard if that makes a difference

Thank you

Nothing. It will be a credit. I do it pretty much of the time. Pay a lump sum when I have it and it becomes "spending money"

Card will go into credit, you can either spend it or contact them and ask for a refund.
