Any suggestions for a film for 12 year olds coming for a sleepover tomorrow night? Preferably on virgin but any will do!

The Martian
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

Mean girls. It will give them a few clues about how to navigate year 8!
The one with Travelling Pants in the title, sorry, someone will remembered.

No idea what’s on Virgin but...

Ready Player One.
Guatdians of the Galaxy.
Wonder Woman.
Night at the Museum.
The Hunger Games.
The Ghostbusters reboot.
Johnny English.

Guardians!

MrsPworkingmummy · 26/08/2018 16:56

Clueless
Mean Girls
Twilight

The 2nd Alice in Wonderland was pretty good though JD was a bit dire. The rest of the cast make up for him.

Dd is 12 and quite into her films - favourites she's watched recently (excluding the predictable Greatest Showman!) have been:

  • La La Land
  • Wonder Woman
  • Mean Girls
  • The kissing booth

She likes older films too - splash, Big, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Ferris Bugler's day off have been recent hits.

We just watched the new jumanji, which was actually really good!

MajesticWhine · 26/08/2018 17:04

Yes we just saw Jumanji. That was fun.

MrsL2016 · 26/08/2018 17:07

If you want to go old school then The Breakfast Club or another John Hughes movie.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 26/08/2018 17:09

Oh, the new Jumanji is great fun!

redexpat · 26/08/2018 17:12

Mean Girls
Grease
Bring it on

Pitch Perfect (1, 2 and/or 3!)

Sgtmajormummy · 26/08/2018 18:04

It may seem a bit young but Paddington 2 is really good fun for all ages and was voted one of 2017’s best films!
