Did you know if you delete someone off your Facebook and don’t block them they can still send you a message via messenger?

Deleted long ago acquaintance and her husband off my Facebook years and years ago because life had moved on and we were no longer in RL contact and I like to keep my fb fairly tight.

Got a creepy message from him last night via messenger - I thought deleting him would have meant he couldn’t message me but it doesn’t mean that.

He’s blocked now regardless but I just thought I’d let folks know.

You can change your settings so that only 'friends' can message you.

I'd forward his creepy message to his wife.

Apparently doing that means his messages go to my “message requests”.

I’ve just started a thread to ask that - should I tell his wife?
