I've stupidly ran out of my blood pressure medication and need to get more today, I've looked on google and apparently some pharmacies can dispense an emergency prescription, I have a Lloyd's pharmacy near me, does anyone have any experience of doing this, how much it cost etc? Really don't want to take a space up at the walk in centre and waste everyone's time coz I'm a forgetful idiot Blush

You need to ask the pharmacy for an emergency aupppy (it is not a prescription). Take some evidence with you that you take the medication - empty box, repeat slip etc. It’s a privare service so you will pay the cost of the drug plus a fee set by the pharmacy. The pharmacy can supply up to 28 days of medication, but will assess and give what you need until you can collect your normal prescription.

Thank you @GoatYoga I've only got an empty blister pack, not the box. Hope that's ok for them.

That should be ok - they can check your Summary Care Record if they need to.
