Boring questions about name labels

Do you put your mobile number on them? If not then why not?

I'm on a website ordering name labels and I've chosen ones with 2 lines of text. I'm only putting first initial and surname so have room for my phone number. I think this is a good idea if dd gets lost or indeed looses something then it'd be easier for it to get back to us. I just have a feeling that most people don't put their number on name tags so would it be weird to do so?

Most stuff gets lost at nursery/school, they won't ring you (unless its something exceptional) and they have your number anyway. However when mine were younger we had some wristbands with our mobile number on them in case the DCs got lost on a day out.

Yes it's a good idea to put mobile number on

I put mobile number on one son's labels as I hadn't thought of it for son one. Someone in school took home ds2's jumper by accident and the mum text me to say she had it and ask if I had her kid's. I think it could be handy when they are little and if they got lost maybe?
