I’ve just left my PFB in her first flat

Ah OP you sound lovely.
I remember my mum driving me to halls when I was 18, the other side of the country.
Whole new chapter starting, still always need your mum though.

It's terrifying, isn't it! But an hour away.... it's almost down the road, isn't it? It's like she's on a sleepover, isn't it?! Tell yourself that until you get used to it. I hope she's really happy in her new flat.

Aw I know just how you feel. I cried like a baby when my first moved out. Was a bit easier when her sister went and it's all good now. We're very close and I love spending time with them but it's so nice to see them independent.
