Spice/nut grinder recommendations

Wondered if you can recommend a robust and easy to clean (ideally can bung it in the dishwasher) spice grinder that's also strong enough to grind nuts to a butter. Used to have this one www.amazon.co.uk/James-Martin-Wahl-Spice-Grinder/dp/B005CZYN2Y/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=spice+grinder+james+martin&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8&qid=1535222977&sr=8-2#HLCXComparisonWidget_feature_div but the plastic grinding insert has always got ground spices trapped between the metal & plastic & now after 3 years the plastic is splitting.

TIA

For spices, I asked in a specialist spice shop & they said the best thing to use was a stone (specifically granite) mortar & pestle, which I already own. TBH spices & nuts are pretty different in size & texture, so you'd probably be best using something sifferent for them. Plus, you really want something you can fully disassemble & wash after grinding nuts in it - not ideal for a spice grinder as they can go rusty I believe. Some people use a coffee grinder & use it exclusively for spices, if that's the sort of thing you wanted?

For spices I use a cheap coffee grinder... One of the 80's style ones. I clear it using a pastry brush. For nuts a food processor - goes in the dishwasher
