She's 13 so family friendly please. We aren't staying straight across from the station so somewhere close would be ideal.

Don't know Leeds at all!

If you head for the trinity centre (5mins walk from station) there’s a few decent restaurants in there upstairs.

Thank you!

In Trinity there is Cote, Carluccios and Comptoir Libannais virtually next to each other.

Banyan’s. DD1 loves it. She’s 3.

If you’revstood on the steps at the Queens Hotel (part of the train station) it’s pretty much over the road in the old post office building.

There’s a Wetherspoons in the station?

ArnoldBee · 25/08/2018 19:10

It's not Wetherspoons anymore! There's a mcds at the station or plenty of restaurants opposite the end of the road.

Tharavadu Restaurant if you like Indian. Best Indian food I've ever eaten.

AdamantEve · 25/08/2018 19:10

George’s great British kitchen is lovely and a short walk away

RJnomore1 · 25/08/2018 19:31

We have come to absurd bird in trinity as one has just opened in Glasgow but we haven't tried it yet. Our hotel is right next to the Indian recommended there so I may try it tomorrow or for Monday lunch.

Thank you.

Livin' Italy, right near the station under the arches

catsofa · 25/08/2018 19:35

Try Bundobust if you possibly can, it's absolutely bloody delicious food, recommended to me by about 8 friends before I tried it myself and they were right, it is so good :)

Leliana · 25/08/2018 19:47

I love Trinity Kitchen (the street-food food court near the top of the Trinity Centre). It's very cool, so hopefully would get teen approval!

RJnomore1 · 25/08/2018 19:50

I may need to stay longer than intended to try all these!

That's where we are @leliana

@rjnomore Enjoy! I did have an awkward moment with 11-year-old DSD earlier this year when I had to explain the artificial leaves over our table were meant to look like cannabis...

RJnomore1 · 25/08/2018 20:17

I have just noticed them. I'm right under them! 😂

Bundobust is excellent

ilovesooty · 25/08/2018 21:56

Tharavadu does a wonderful lunch menu.

thenightsky · 25/08/2018 22:24

ilovesooty Lunch menu you say? I'm up for that asap! Grin
