Moving back to UK - schools advise

Dears,
We are planning to go back to UK for next school year (sep 2019). We are thinking about moving to Tonbridge in Kent. In Sep 2019, our son will be in Year 6 and our daughter in Year 9.
For our son, we need the following advise on a good state school in Tonbridge for year 6. We are targeting grammar schools for him for secondary.
For our daughter, we will need to place her in a good independent school (too late for grammar schools). Can anyone advise on local private girls schools?

You may need to register for 11+ tests prior to the summer holidays. For state schools you may not have a wide choice in year 6, it will depend where has space at the time.
