If I win the lottery, this will be my dream house

It's bloody lovelyGrin

YeTalkShiteHen · 24/08/2018 15:54

this is mine Grin

Decor is pretty rank but I’d be a multi millionaire!

I like the kitchen in yours OP! And the stairs.

nuttynutjob · 24/08/2018 16:14

Thanks, Bear. Do you have a dream house?

Hen, love your house as well. I love the natural pond and know a friend who has a natural swimming pond at their house.

How other people live.

I wonder if the swans are like pets are they wild swans. All the birds in my garden are robins, starlings and blackbirds.

It was the pond and the lack of near neighbours that attracted me to it!

Swans as pets Grin I think they all belong to the Queen don’t they?

We have finches and robins, but nothing more exotic! I’d love to have peacocks and peahens if we owned that house, and chickens too.

Just have to win the lottery first Grin

marvellousnightforamooncup · 24/08/2018 18:23

I'd live there OP. Nice part of the world too.

Uglybear · 25/08/2018 12:20

My dream house would be any old house as long as it was next to the sea Smile

PickAChew · 25/08/2018 12:22

I want a beach in my garden.

NellieBee · 26/08/2018 00:14

I love playing 'dream house shopping' on right move. Yours is gorgeous, OP.

Stupomax · 26/08/2018 00:18

If I win the lottery, this will be my dream house

Did you also picture Mr Darcy walking out of the pond onto the beach or was that just me?

nuttynutjob · 01/09/2018 09:33

Lol Mr Darcy? or Heathcliff to be a bit more tumultuous and exciting.

pickachew, my other dream home is a New England beach house - big windows, lots of natural light, white decor with blue motif

Ooh lovely sadly above my price range. I'm looking at houses atm, dc3 expected next spring so we need to get a move on and find something. Prices are slowly dipping so some of these fancy houses will come down in price hopefully but not enough for our budget.

MrsExpo · 01/09/2018 11:50

All I can say is that you guys have impeccable taste in houses!! I've always wanted a georgian, double fronted house never going to happen and an equestrian place with room for lots of horses really never going to happen .... both utterly fabulous.

... wanders off to daydream .....

nuttynutjob · 02/09/2018 14:48

Aura, goodluck on your house hunting and with the new baby. Hopefully it all gets sorted out before the baby comes.

Mrs, yes I do love looking at dream houses. Dreaming is free!

Thank you @nuttynutjob it's only early days yet, I've not had my scan yet end of Oct. My belly has already popped out so it's harder to hide this pregnancy until my scan unlike my first two. I didn't really show until 4/5 months. We've started house hunting in earnest but I'm still allowing myself to day dream on right move! Buy yourself a lottery ticket, fingers crossed you never know.

oooompa · 02/09/2018 23:07

That house is beautiful OP! I just googled it and apparently Noel Edmund owned it and sold up in 2015. The same pictures on Right Move were in the article I read, Noel must have good taste Grin

Maelstrop · 02/09/2018 23:23

They made a beach! Amazing! Just enough land for 4 or 5 horses, it’s perfect, OP!

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 03/09/2018 05:43

I wouldn't, not without an exorcism. We've found the last house of our lives: 10 minutes from Druridge Bay, wood burner and no garden whatsoever. Get in!
