Pots and pans

I'm just looking for a new set of pots and pans, does the brand matter?
There's an overwhelming amount of choice even when I know I want non-stick and they need to work with induction.

Also, continuing my rambling stream of thoughts about the fascinating topic that is pots and pans...

Do I need 7 pans?! Everything seems to come in a set.

I have the Eaziglide pans. We have the 3pc Saucepan set, griddle pan, pancake pan and wok. Best non stick pans I have ever used and suitable for induction if memory serves :)

We got ours from John Lewis :)

I got mine in TKMaxx as I didn't want a set, I use certain sizes more than others and not always the same type of pan, sometimes I want ones I can put in the dishwasher. I have a 'set' of non stick and a 'set' of nice shiny ones.

Thanks! I think I'll buy single pans.

HAs anyone had those Tefal ones with the detachable handles?
