We're off for the last bits of uniform today. What are you up to?

I thought I'd got away with just polo shirts for dd2 this time round until she tried on her skirts and cardi's

So...off we go to Asda when the girls are dressed (they've just got up, it could be a while).

Anyone up to anything more exciting? :)

Nothing exciting happening here apart from waiting for Amazon to deliver a waffle maker

Going to pick up tu order from last week (pinafore and socks for youngest starting nursery ). Also getting a few bits for holiday next week . Then kids are off to their dads for the night so I’m going to do some sorting out here and relaxing hopefully .

We are heading off camping for the weekend. Dh has gone into work this morning so the DC's and I have been packing and cleaning up the house. We are off to take the cat to the cattery in a minute then the DC's will need an early lunch and we will head off as soon as dh gets home about 12:30.

Meant to be going to try on my wedding dress but I woke up feeling dreadful and full of cold. Banging headache. Sigh. If I don't go today though I don't know when I'll next get a chance. DD seems to be on a mission to make as much noise as possible which really isn't helping!

Going to do school shoes. Hope everyone else doesn’t have the same idea!

Packing for holiday. I would really like a waffle maker Madison.

Starting the appeal process for the PIP decision. Means a trip to the GP to fill out some paperwork and then access my medical records.

And then try and find out who can help with the whole process.

It's going to rain today, black clouds overhead already. So after doctors I will be at home. DD2 is out with her friend playing in the street, DD1 is going out with one of her friends.

We might go to a local sunflower field that was empty & farmer covered in sunflowers & made paths throughas a fundraiser for church hall!

I don't know. We were going to go to the park for a picnic but it started pouring with rain. Still might if it dries up a bit, but I'm not sure we've got any picnic food in. Can't go shoe shopping until after pay day, and DD said she isn't going back to school if she has to wear a shirt and dress/ skirt, so she is wearing summer dresses even if it's not warm when they go back so haven't worried about buying new uniform (hoping she hasn't grown out of cardigans as they have to have the logo on and take ages to be delivered)

Been to Asda for some pizzas that you get made up at the counter and some wine, got asked for ID (I'm 35!) so am over the moon with that!

Just sitting having a cuppa, DS in on PS4 and DD is wandering around (she's 1.5!) taking them both swimming with some friends later

Going to a friends house after lunch so I'm sat with a cup of tea & alternating between MN & adding to my packing list for our October holiday. First one abroad in years - so excited!!

All uniform sorted except school shoes which we'll get over the weekend.

I'm trapped in my settee with carpet fitters doing the stairs and whole of upstairs, my front room is full of boxes containing 2 beds, 2 wardrobes and 4 sets of drawers plus 3 mattresses. I can't even get in the bathroom 😂😂

The DDs have been delivered to the circus summer school that they are doing, so I'm home alone with cats and crisps for a couple of hours before I pick them up!

Later they are off to their Dad's for the weekend, my plan is to do very little (sadly!) as I'm having a rough pregnancy and have been told to stay off my feet!

Meal planning for the week, keeping my 3 year old occupied with board games so that my house remains slightly intact, wash load and cleaning the fridge out so I can do a shop tomorrow. Well, that's the plan currently I am sat eating crackers and MNIng whilst said 3year old eats her lunch and watches carebears whilst randomly getting up to dance...

All mine back to school yesterday!

Will be getting last minute school socks and vests in town today at lunch.

I'm going to pretend to do some housework today, done the absolute bare minimum since the children broke up, so the house looks like a bombs hit it

Walk on the beach and crazy golf, if the teenager ever wakes up!

Doc appointment for DD1 (5) as apparently she can’t hear out of her right ear at all.

I’m currently sitting in softplay. Been here for almost two hours. Argh... nearly time to leave me thinks.

We did school shoes yesterday, in an out within half an hour (and nearly £200 lighter 😭).
Uniform has been ordered from the supplier but waiting to collect it for them to try it all in and then pay.
Hopefully today so we can plan next week.
Other than that, the electrician is here, the dc and I have just finished a game of monopoly, they are baking a cake and we are going out for dinner with my family tonight.
Quite a lazy day for me though!

Have just made pancakes for lunch but really need to go and collect forms for the kids club the DC really don't want to go to next week.
Didn't know where is was so have Google mapped it and it's at the top of a really big hill so now I really don't want to go! And it's started raining 😔

Cricket this morning, now lunch and a swim at my parents. Quite chilly though so kids have abandoned the pool in favour of Lego.

We're as done as we're getting for the moment.

Dd1 needs school shirts but finding her size anywhere that we can get to on the bus is near on impossible, so two will do for the moment. & I think dd2 could do with a third cardigan and skirt but we'll see how we do with two.

Still need coats but, handily, it rained as we left the house so both wore their coats. Dd1's won't last long since she's heading for 5' 6" rather rapidly and dd2's needs a rip repairing that I hadn't noticed but might be ok for a while to give my bank balance a chance to recover!

Pinching myself that at the end of next week, ds will have finished his education and his MA. This will be the first late August/early September in a very long time that hasn't been bound up with sorting stuff out for the start of term.
