Already complained to the airline, which was easy jet, they said hey would look into it and get back to me which they haven’t

So are there any further higher authorities that I can refer this matter to ? Would the caa be the next place or is there somewhere more appropriate ?

I think you need to chase up EasyJet first

Bezm · 24/08/2018 09:32

What happened?

AtrociousCircumstance · 24/08/2018 09:32

I guess outline what happened clearly and then bomb social media about it - their twitter account etc?

Yes I’ve chased them up twice now
The first reply came back and said they are still looking into it and trying to people down to interview

And the second chasing up
No reply, as yet

If it was someone just being rude I’d just let it go, after comparing in about them

But this person I honestly feel is unsafe in the sky, and a danger to the public
So don’t want anything bad to happen to anyone
That’s why the need to escalate the complain to a higher authority if not dealt with properly

So what happened - what did the harasser do?

OliviaStabler · 25/08/2018 07:26

You need to be more specific about what happened for us to advise.

What did he say / do that made you feel this way? Was it noticed by others on the plane?

Weepingwillows12 · 25/08/2018 07:32

How long ago did you first complain? These investigations will be slow as they would need to fully investigate. They wouldn't be treating their employees fairly if they just took the word of a customer without speaking to them, colleagues etc. They probably have formal disciplinary processes to follow which take time. And this is a really busy time of year for airlines so might be hard getting the right people involved.

I don't actually think they will be able to tell you the outcome anyway honestly. Would just forget about it now.

Violetroselily · 25/08/2018 07:37

How long since you complained to easyjet?

Branleuse · 25/08/2018 07:41

What comment dud they make?

QuoadUltra · 25/08/2018 07:43

What kind of harassment?

You can report it to the police.

flumpybear · 25/08/2018 07:47

What happened and how long ago? There's usually policies about how long complaints take to consider and investigate

AndhowcouldIeverrefuse · 25/08/2018 07:52

I complained to easyjet years ago over an incident I witnessed where 2 members of staff (especially one) were very rude to people sitting in front of me. Apart from that in another incident in the same flight they acted in a way that made me think I would not be safe in an emergency if these people were in charge.

I am being deliberately vague and "being rude" doesn't sound like something major but these people behaved like drunken harridans and looking back now (it was over 10 years ago) I wonder if they were drunk.

I never heard from Easyjet Angry

InfiniteSheldon · 25/08/2018 07:53

They are looking into it

NeverStopExploring · 25/08/2018 08:16

I doubt they will tell you any outcome of an investigation due to confidentiality. Investigations will take time as witnesses might need interviewing, cctv reviewed, consultations with hr etc etc but they won’t involve you in the outcome

LardLizard · 25/08/2018 11:28

Don’t want to go over exactly what happened as it will upset me, but the reason for my concern is that this person is honestly a danger in the air

Happened end of July so maybe just need to give them more time

I did think about contacting the caa

If this person did something that causes them to be disciplined or dismissed, then the airline won't tell you about it. All they will say is they are 'investigating' and take appropriate action if necessary. You have no guarantee that any action will be taken.

Have you tried contacting them on Twitter?
