Gross - are these bed bugs?

Yuk, I was taking off the bed sheets and found these... they are small (2-3mm), black with wings. Nothing that looks like smeared poo and I haven't been bitten...

But I don't know what they are!

I do dry the sheets outside, are they just common bugs??

Envy < not envy

Fruit flies?

Oh grim, is that better lol

They look sort of like tiny beetle things? The wings seem to come out from under back flaps (technical term) not straight from their back iyswim?

Don't think they're bed bugs.
Bed bugs I've seen are brownish.

If you dry outside, could they be thunderbugs? I have also seen a lot of a slightly larger more beetly looking bug this year that behaves in the same way, basically landing in swarms on anything light.

I hope they're just some garden bug who hitched a ride on the washing.

I feel all itchy now having found them!

Blurgh
