New bf birthday

Hi all, just wondering what your opinion is on what to do about bf of 6 months upcoming birthday. We are getting quite serious and this is the first of our birthdays whilst together. I have just ordered a couple of West end musical tickets (cheap seats) for the evening before his birthday so we will go to that and probably have a meal out as well which I will offer to pay for. I was wondering if I should get a present as well so he has something to keep. I don't have lots of spare cash but don't want to be stingy either!

I should add - maybe thinking this way as I will be going with so getting the benefit also. And was the one choosing the show. Though I have chosen something I think he'll like. But is it a bit selfish if no gift also?

Sounds like a nice idea. Maybe something like some new aftershave if you want to give a physical gift to unwrap.

I would probably get a small gift to unwrap. Something you know he will like. I think that’s enough though. Have a lovely time.
