Waiting in for tradespeople

So, I'm expecting a carpet fitter, and delivery of furniture from John Lewis plus another delivery from Ikea.
I've had several emails and texts for all 3 saying they will turn up between 7 am and noon. Having spent hours waiting for people to turn up to do various jobs this summer, I'm wondering just what time they will actually arrive?
I'm having carpets fitted in both bedrooms so have had to empty them therefore am currently sat downstairs with all my bedroom stuff surrounding me. At th same time, I've had to make sure there's enough room in my front room for the deliveries of the furniture! Roll on tonight and a large gin alongside a chippy tea 😂😂

IKEA came 2 1/2 hours after the end of the delivery slot for me last week. No call or anything until half hour before they arrived :(
But hopefully with a morning slot you will be fine as they will have less chance of accumulating delay.

That will be exciting though new carpet and new furniture

Diodon, yes it'll be very exciting, but don't relish watching DH putting together 2 very tall wardrobes and 5 sets of drawers plus 2 beds later 😂😂
