Recommendations for school uniform

What is everyone's experiences 're supermarket school uniform offerings? I know it's cheap but I bought from Asda last year and it all washed and wore really badly. I want to buy stuff that stays looking good this year.

I tend to buy M&S for DS and Next for DD. Not been let down by either or these.

M&S every time. I’ve tried a couple of bits from supermarkets, Next and John Lewis and none have matched M&S for quality.

ooh interesting. do you find it very much more expensive at all?

M and s are the only place who do trousers which fit ds, some are going into their third year and are fine still.

I get polo shirts from Asda and have never had quality issues
