Do you play the People's Postcode Lottery?

So have seen the Ad and just amused myself reading the Trust Pilot reviews, but I don't know anyone who plays. Do you? How lucky have you been? Has anyone knocked on your door?

The postcode lottery I've been doing for a while won the odd tenner lol!..but no one's knock on my door yet!! Living in hope lol!

foxyknoxy30 · 23/08/2018 06:52

I used to work in an area that some people won the average payout was £20k but someone won £800k !!😃

Possumfish · 23/08/2018 06:58

I've won about 150 overall. I know someone who won 30k!

FabulouslyFab · 23/08/2018 07:02

It seems everyone wins £10 within the first few weeks of joining - that’s my experience and friends from a few different postcodes. Not much sonce though!

Slartybartfast · 23/08/2018 07:04

Slartybartfast · 23/08/2018 07:32

i have rejoined pickmypostcode, it is free

Grumpyoldwoman007 · 23/08/2018 07:34

I won £5,500 😊. I got a golden envelope inviting me to a presentation and then a phone call asking if I would be attending. As I didn’t go I got a phone call to tell me how much I’d won. No door knocking thank god. I’d have been mortified!

PrincessWire · 23/08/2018 07:39

A road in my area won £1 million between them. 5 players so they won £200 thousand each, including one household that played twice so they won £400 thousand in total.

Cupoteap · 23/08/2018 07:41

Well done Grumpy!

Princess wow so close and yet so far!

Possum £159 is good - how long have you been playing?

Foxy would you say the people claiming it's a fix just don't understand the concept of a lottery?

I've been in it for a couple of years and have won six times - £10 x 4, £15 x 2.

YeTalkShiteHen · 24/08/2018 09:39

I don’t, but the former owners of our house did and that’s why we’ve got a playroom and swanky looking (but not well built Sad) shower room.

HowlsMovingBungalow · 24/08/2018 09:43

We signed up to it back in May. Won 3 x £20 since - not bad!

MissCalamity · 24/08/2018 10:56

We've been doing it for a couple of years and won 2 x £10 and 1 x £15.
I have seen a postcode very close winning the daily £1000, there's also been a few "big" wins in about a 10 mile radius, so here's hoping 🤞

HazelBite · 24/08/2018 11:08

I've been in it for ages and have won two tenners, but then I enter all sorts of competitions on a regular basis, and the only thing I have ever won was a voucher courtesy of Mumsnet!

Freshprincess · 24/08/2018 11:55

I’m in the free post code lottery, never won anything, but it costs me nothing.
I don’t really understand how the people’s lottery differs from the national lottery, so I’ve never played it. But then I’m not a regular national lottery player either.
