Does anyone know much about Facebook? my photos are appearing on strangers profiles.

I'm not a big fb user and haven't got a clue what's going on here!
Briefly, I received a friend request from a total stranger, which was obviously a fake account.
I deleted the request, but before I did so I had a nosey look on this person's friends list.
I clicked on one of the profiles, then their actual profile pic and was shocked to find that my personal photos came up, with an option above to 'upload another photo' as my profile pic
I came off that profile and had a look on another of the fake accounts 'friends' profile and the same thing happened again!
I then looked through all the friends (not many) and there is two other random profiles which also bring my photos up if I click their picture.

Have I been hacked? ... I really don't know WTF is going on with my photos

Get the Facebook police on the case. In the meantime set your security settings to the max.

Can you go back though and screen grab the names and photos they are using?

This sounds rather stalkerish to me.

I would possibly report to the police via their report on line page rather than calling, even if police don't do anything you will have the situation logged incase it continues.

I would also individually check every photo on your account to make sure it's set as friends only.

I'm definitely going to have it looked into. Just thought I'd post here in case it could just be a 'glitch' on my phone.
Can't use my laptop as dd has taken it with her overnight. What hapoens is, when I click on these profile pics, all my photos are listed in a chunk and I'm given the option if I want to upload one for my profile.
I've double checked the settings and they're already set to friends, so I can't work out what's going on
There's four profiles bringing my pics up (only when I click their picture), but two of those accounts do look genuine, the others don't.
It does sound stalkerish to me, its likely irrelevant but my ex's gf did use to pry on my account (she let this slip) until I blocked her. Although its probably very unlikely she's found a way to stalk pry on me again ...isn't it?

I wonder if there's a bit of a glitch at the moment. I clicked on the profile of someone I'm not friends with, and then their profile picture and it gave me the option to upload another picture. I just assumed it was a glitch and clicked off it. I'd contact Facebook and find out if there's some sort of problem.

It's been concerning me because these profiles are 'friends' with the person behind the obvious fake account which friend requested me. Clicking that particular profile doesn't bring my photos up.

I've just clicked on to the profiles (where my personal pics show up) and pressed the report button. I am given options as to the reason I want to report the account, and the only ones suitable are 'something else' or 'fake account' buttons.

I've tried both options but all I get back is a generic 'thanks for your feedback' etc and told that I could try to log out of my account to 'recover the account' ... it's as if fb believes these other accounts belong to me!

I'm completely at a loss as to what to do as I can't seem to contact fb properly.

Look up the case of Leah Palmer , who's that girl? I think it was called. She was trolled on Facebook. Her real name was Ruth Palmer.

Thank you for that link, its really interesting. Something is definitely going on, I just can't figure out why (if it is identity theft, which it could well be) my photo etc doesn't appear on these main profile pages.
My pics only come up when I click their profile photos. The four accounts are also supposedly male ones.
I'm going to get someone to go through my phone today and see if they can figure out what's going on.
