Having a bit of a panic

I know this sounds ridiculous.

Bottom line is I have a silly little mouth ulcer and I'm scared I'm going to die of sepsis over night and leave my small children motherless.

An ulcer ffs. Had it 2 days and today the pain has spread down my cheek and the gland under my jaw feels tender. So I've got it in my head it's infected. You can tell anything by looking at me though.

My husband had sepsis 2 years ago and nearly died so quickly it terrified me.

Someone slap me?

No wonder you were worried with what you went through. Must have been awful and you are traumatised understandably. Tell yourself that there is no link between the ulcer and sepsis and also that sepsis is still quite rare. Ulcers are very common and easily treated but can sometimes be a sign of stress/tiredness. Be kind to yourself Thanks

Sorry just seen about your jaw, it's horrible that pain, I've had it before and it made me feel a bit under the weather too. Could be the start of a bit of a cold maybe...
