Five year old knocked a tooth out

DS is five and was trying to open something with his mouth Hmm and his front tooth came out. It wasn't wobbly before and there's no sign of an adult tooth in the socket, just a hole.

Does he need a dentist or is at the point where I may as well leave it till the adult one comes in?

My 5 year old pulled 2 of his bottom teeth out buy having a tantrum and biting down hard on his shoe 😳 one tooth was slightly wobbly and the other not at all. We went to the dentist a couple of weeks later for our usual check up and he said he could see that both his adult teeth were ready to come through (I couldn’t see that, just a couple of holes!!) I told him about what happened and he said it wasn’t a problem. I wouldn’t worry about it as your ds is due to start losing teeth soon anyway x

Thanks, that's reassuring!
