Hello,
Flying Ryanair for the first time on the weekend, and their website makes things as clear as mud.
We have Family Plus - which means that we get Priority and 2 cabin bags, plus I've booked on an extra 40 kg of hold luggage.
We've got a car the other side, and I'm wondering about taking our booster seats with us. The website seems to blather on about Infant equipment being free to take on, but our kids are 7 and 9 and no infants.... can we still take them on for free? Or do we need to pay? Wondering about taking them as pieces of hand luggage (though I'll need to measure them)...
Is there a Ryanair pro out there that might know the score?

We are in the Canary Islands at the mo after flying Ryanair. You would have to check each car seat in as though it were a suitcase/piece of hold luggage.

We brought our infant car seat which was obviously checked in for free but for the toddler seat we had made allowances for when I booked our luggage allowance (I paid for priority too).

Or depending on how big the seats are, you could package them together which would only take up 1 case of your allowance.

Also, bear in mind, if you haven't paid for priority then its highly likely that your cabin bags will automatically be sent to the hold instead of allowed onboard with you. Obviously you would keep your handbag with you though

We've flown to France with Ryanair the last two years with two kids over two (so not infants) and taken a pushchair and the kids' car seats on free of charge. The Ryanair website says "You can carry 2 items of baby equipment free of charge per child - 1 pushchair plus one of the following items: car seat or booster seat or travelcot" and in another section defines child as 2-11 so that's what I was going by. It's possible that's not what was intended but we haven't had a problem so far.
