I'm thinking of starting a CV writing business as it's something I find super satisfying and have a strangely specific talent for. I've got experience in related fields. I also figure it'll be good to fit around looking after my three little ones.

I'm wondering how much to charge, and also how to find clients, so...
Have you ever paid for someone to write your CV? If so, how much did you pay? How did you find the person to do it?
If not, would you ever? If so, where would you look? And how much would you pay?
Also - which aspects of your CV did you / would you particularly like help with?

Not myself but my husband. Paid £190 I think it was, for bespoke cv in several formats, several different letters, interview ebook, changes and updates for 12 months and updated LinkedIn.

How did you find the person to do it?
Recommendation from a friend who works in the same sector as dh and had previously used him.

which aspects of your CV did you / would you particularly like help with
He just wanted it revamping after a career break. Over the years he’s added and removed stuff as needed and it wasn’t reading as well as he wanted.
