Do Beast Quest books get more difficult as the series progresses?

My son is halfway through series 2 and is really enjoying them. However, I’ve found out that there are 21 series. Do the books get more grown up as the series progress or is it just more of the same?

I’ve tried Googling this but all I came up with was a lot of stuff about how much people hate Beast Quest.

No. Not more grown up. Just more of the same in different lands with different beasts to free/kill and different outcomes each series. Ds1 is on book 30. It doesn't get better.

I think they are all the same style of book or writing. They're just as series of books, rather than a book scheme. Very much in the same way the Magic Fairy type ones are iirr.
