Ovulation - pain, vomiting, peeing a lot, wtf is this?

I'm used to always having a bit of pain when ovulating. It's not insane pain like during my period so can manage it easily enough - however on waking this morning I'm in a bad way with nausea and peeing lots.

Was up quite a few times in the night to pee which is not like me but thought nothing of it until I nearly passed out and then vommed a couple of times.

It feels like there's a tennis ball squashing everything just above my pubic bone, the pressure is very uncomfortable. Peeing doesn't hurt and the pain isn't bad itself, just the nausea and dizziness.

I have a gp appointment this afternoon to rule out uti, which I guess it could be but surely that would be stinging or burning?

From a scan I was told one of my ovaries is cystic (but I don't have PCOS) so could it be something to do with this? I have confirmed adenomyosis as well, and suspect endometriosis might be there too but it's taking ages to progress with investigations.

Has anyone experienced the weird pressure feeling or puking/ fainting during ovulation?

Could it be a twisted ovary? I think this can be more common if you have PCOS. Good that you are seeing GP today because if it is twisted ovary, it needs immediate surgical intervention. I'm told the pain of a twisted ovary is intense.

I once had an ovarian pain, sweatiness, sick-feeling, passing out episode which lasted about an hour. When I went to my GP, she said it was probably a cyst bursting. Told me to come back if I had any more problems, but it never happened again.

Agree that it's a good thing you're seeing your GP. If the pain continues, you may have a cyst on a stalk which is twisting and you need A&E and a scan.

Hope it eases off soon. It was v painful.

I have loads of fibroids and also have this during ovulation and just before my period starts.

Thank you. It's crazy how vague doctors are about gynae things. Last one was very unhelpful.

On way to gp practice now. Was feeling better, tried eating and was ok, but now pain and pressure has built up again.

Have also passed a load of pink stuff.
