Baby carriers, help!

Hi. I’m looking for a carrier which I can put my 15 month old on my back. Just wondering which is best in regards to being the easiest when your on your own, some state you need assistance. Cheapest too, thanks!

I can't advise on a specific one as I am still using a sling for now but I would suggest going to a sling library and trying some out, you can also rent one to see if you get on with it before parting with more money.

We've got a backpack one that looks like a hiking backpack. Stable stood up with child in so very easy to put on by yourself. Ours also has a pocket which fits nappies, snacks etc which saves carrying another bag. It's made by little life.

I've got an ergo performance (not the 360). My kid is 2.5 and used it since she was 4 months old. It's good till about 4 years and is good for their hips. Comfy also. Highly recommend it. Oh and I'm pregnant and it's still comfy

We have the littlelife cross country. It’s big but brilliant. If i’m on my own, I lift it onto a table and then turn around and put it in properly
Ours has lasted for two children over 5 years

from off the shelf i would get an ergo, but youll find in a few months your little one might get a bit heavy (depending on their weight obvs) for optimum comfort so might need something a bit more supportive. check out sling librarys and sling meets in your area (if you say where i might be able to recommend) and then you can try a few types and see what suits you best!
