If you felt tired at 8pm, would you go to bed for the night or just have a nap?

No other responsibilities.

Thanks

Get into bed with a book 😍

Backstabbath · 21/08/2018 19:52

Bed for the night

Chipsahoy · 21/08/2018 19:53

I'd go to the bed. In fact me and my middle ds and baby ds are going up at 8 to watch a film in bed and then sleep. Dh and oldest ds are camping.

IHaveBrilloHair · 21/08/2018 19:53

Bed for the night.

Ellieboolou27 · 21/08/2018 19:53

Bed

BeeFarseer · 21/08/2018 19:53

I've done both. Depends on whether I've had food or not.

No food = nap, get up for something quick to eat, then back to bed.

Food = going to bed for the night.

TaggieRR · 21/08/2018 19:53

Bed for the night

SnuggyBuggy · 21/08/2018 19:53

Definitely bed for the night

Maelstrop · 21/08/2018 19:53

Nap or I’d wake up at like 3.

sexnotgender · 21/08/2018 19:54

Bed!
I’d probably have a bath then go curl up for the night.

tenterden · 21/08/2018 19:54

Bed. In fact I was just thinking of heading up with a good book Smile

Licketysplits · 21/08/2018 19:54

Bed for the night. Naps are only taken if they end before 6pm! (In this house anyway).

AfterSchoolWorry · 21/08/2018 19:55

Bed for the night.

I'm in bed most nights around 6 anyway.

Syfychannel · 21/08/2018 19:55

Depends what time you have to get up in the morning. I'd probably have a nap, hate going to bed early. Only if I had to get up early or felt ill would I go to bed.

OutPinked · 21/08/2018 19:55

Whenever I have tried to sleep so early I always wake up a few hours later feeling really confused and awful.

I’d force myself to stay awake until at least 10pm:

Tink1990 · 21/08/2018 19:55

Bed with a book. Where im off to any minute now Grin

ColinsVeryJolly · 21/08/2018 19:56

I’d eat some sugar to keep me awake until a more normal bedtime like 1am

Itchytights · 21/08/2018 19:56

It’ll be goodnight from me in that situation.

userofthiswebsite · 21/08/2018 19:56

Bed early and get up early. Though I find it difficult to sleep while it's light out so the answer might vary in the longer days but still 90% bed.

I don't really do naps to be honest. I don't be able to sleep when I'm not 'supposed' to be asleep, such as night time.

Also find it hard to sleep in places where I'm not supposed to be asleep such as when on a plane or hotel room. I need my own bed in my own place.

Leyani · 21/08/2018 19:57

Try to stay awake till 9/10ish then bed for the night - for me 8 is too late to nap but too early to turn in

ILoveMyDressingGown · 21/08/2018 19:58

I'd try and stay awake as long as possible, perhaps get up and do something like get a drink of water or whatever. That's because if I gave in at this time and either napped or went to bed I'd end up being wide awake at 3a.m. I have been known to doze on the settee for 10mins though before tea's served.

topsyanddim · 21/08/2018 19:58

I’d just stay awake another hour and a half then go to bed. I’m always knackered by 8 isn’t everyone else?!

safariboot · 21/08/2018 19:58

It's too early for me to sleep. I can feel tired without feeling sleepy, if that makes sense. I'd probably relax to some music or a TV repeat.

SoyDora · 21/08/2018 19:58

Bed, but I’d probably read for an hour before actually trying to sleep.
Then again I have lifelong insomnia so am literally always tired and am always trying to keep myself awake, so I try and keep to a regular pattern regardless of how exhausted I feel.

Parker231 · 21/08/2018 19:58

Bed ! I did it one evening last week - a combination of a couple of busy weeks and jet lag from a 24 hour trip to the States. I had a long shower and curled up in bed with a new book. DH brought me up a plate of snack food and I had a lazy but very relaxing evening. I think I fell asleep around 9.30.
