Anyone remember Bacon bits?

And do the exist? Small crunchy bacony "bits" which we used to sprinkle over salad, or cheesy baked potatoes.

Exists in the Pizza Hut salad bar ... yum x

You can get them in tubs. Dangerous.

I prefer the crispy onion bits on salads though. Even more dangerous.

All the supermarkets sell them. Usually in the section with dried herbs.

Asda sell them as well as the onion bits. I sat and ate a whole tub once oops!

Blimey I thought they'd been discontinued in the late 80's!! I loved them and was forever being told off for eating a tub.

Weirdly they are also vegan, as they are made of soy. I'm not vegan but was veggie for a while and this always surprised me. Delicious little crunchy buggars though.

I buy them in Morrisons. Went looking for them after I’d had them in Pizza Hut. They are with the sauces and salad dressings in my store.

I love bacon bits , think I'm going to have to take the children to the Harvester tonight as I won't stop thinking about them now. The onion bits are yummy too
