Ds 2.5 has app with plastic surothis afternoon to check how his cut is healing. Big cut to head on Sunday they glued twice but want to check it today.
I’m worried sick - I have a condition which means I can have a allergic type reaction to general anaesthetics that ds could potentially also have obviously I’ve flagged this up and they are happy they could put things in place.
But honestly I feel sick to my stomach with worry.

They're generally waiting in pre op, anaesthetic, theatre and recovery for a total of about 2 hours. You may be able to stay until he's asleep (but watch your allergy! ) and go back to him when he's waking up in recovery. They'll guide you through it and they will take good care of him.

DD had a general when she was 3. She was put to sleep in my arms and then carried to the bed. I waited around for about 2 hours and then could go in to see her when she was waking up. They are drosey and a bit sad when they first wake up but after about 20 minutes she was asking for food! And after 3 yogurts she was sent home! This was for grommets not stitches.
