I'm like this too at the moment. I'm shattered but can't seem to quieten my mind. And, when I do get to sleep, I'm having the most bonkers dreams including one that woke me up in full panic the other night. Gah!

I probably should meditate or do some yoga during the day... or just get slightly sozzled...

And I probably shouldn't be on my phone...

mumof2sarah · 21/08/2018 01:47

Me, I give up, I'm tired but I can't settle. Keep hearing noises (that's obviously aren't really happening) and am really unsettled and anxious. DP is on nights this week which I really struggle with the first night or two. I've been on instagram looking at interior design because I'm that sort of person. So fed up with myself tonight. Hope you get some rest soon xx

bristollady · 21/08/2018 01:49

Hello! Same here. Still awake! FFS!

champagnesupernouveaux · 21/08/2018 01:51

Me. Going through a bit of an insomniac phase at the moment. I suffer with restless legs, can't sleep in heat, and tonight seem to have developed a tummy bug. Fun!

DH keeps trying to give me "helpful" advice. I just want to kill him.

Dumbledora · 21/08/2018 01:52

I'm on holiday and can't sleep
In agony with an ingrown toenail

Singlenotsingle · 21/08/2018 01:54

I'm normally ok but not tonight. Uncomfortable hotel bed I think is the problem

Eminybob · 21/08/2018 01:58

I’m here!
This has been my regular wake up time for quite a few weeks now. If I’m lucky I might get a couple more hours of sleep before ds wakes up. However I’m currently up eating an enormous bowl of corn flakes

9amTrain · 21/08/2018 02:07

Yeah I've had a litre of Lucozade and I'm binge watching Charmed [santa]

nocoolnamesleft · 21/08/2018 02:14

What is this sleep of which you speak?

Notasyoungasiwas · 21/08/2018 07:27

Am on school hols atm but was up ridiculously early. Think I drifted off at about 4 - mind is full of work, staff, kids etc etc I have slot of funny dreams when I’m stressed - a weird one the other night about having to get pieces of gold and silver card shapes into some sort of order 😂

Up again tonight! Anyone else? How many of you are pregnant right now? I wonder if the insomnia is pregnancy related?

LeavingTheSandBehind · 23/08/2018 04:54

I'm awake too! Absolutely pouring with rain here and something get setting off the security light in the garden (think it was the peg bag on the washing line).

lolaflores · 23/08/2018 05:07

Hello to everyone in the land of Not Nod. on my own in the house. Taking steroids for asthma and chest infection and they send me a bit bats. I am feeling human again but it has played holybhell with me.
I wake up and it's like an avalanche of thoughts and ideas that I simply can't stop.
DH and DD up at PILS back tomorrow. Miss them horribly and even though it's time for me I don't feel right.
I have never been the best sleeper but the older I get the more nights I spend watching DH sleep like a log just to spite me. The sod

lolaflores · 23/08/2018 05:22

Too early for breakfast?
Are the hedgehogs get to g ready for bed?
Oh dear

Lidlbutfierce · 23/08/2018 05:44

Same here. I keep waking up thinking the doorbell just went or someone is knocking on the door. I could have sworn to it. Two nights in a row now. Now Im a bit panicky in bed. Raining and birds squeaking here.

FlamingGoat · 23/08/2018 05:56

I can't sleep either. I lost my Mum 2 weeks ago and can't settle.

lolaflores · 23/08/2018 06:03

Oh dear everyone. The wee small hours of the morning are the loneliest and hardest. Seem to last longer than others too. But they pass. Sun is up here and the day is starting but I just feel sleepy

Notreadyforkidstogrowupyet · 23/08/2018 06:22
