I'm not a chiropodist, but I recently managed to put a razor right through my nail shaving my foof and super glue worked a treat!

millimat · 20/08/2018 20:49

I think it's too big a job for glue though Sad
Looks like it will rip off if we're not careful.

I suspect they will want to remove the nail

IlPorcupinoNilSodomyEst · 20/08/2018 21:00

Is that a finger or a toe? My big toenail broke like that a few years ago, I stuck a plaster on it till it came off of its own accord and it just grew out fine, didn't hurt or get damaged.

millimat · 20/08/2018 21:02

It's a big toe. She does a lot of ballet so very worried about it affecting her. I'm planning on getting to a chiropodist tomorrow.

Nail is loose so currently wrapped in tape.

Nail glue and rizla will hold it in place until you get to an expert.

Pinkywoo · 21/08/2018 09:40

@Espressobutler it was my finger nail not toe!

Flip flops, tape and ask around at the ballet school for a chiropodist recommendation. Fungal?

I’d also ask her ballet teacher - could either be technique or need to have shoes made to compensate (?) her foot/point shape.

GP has said to leave it and if it falls off then it will be fine. Phew!
