Eating Glasgow around St Georges Square?

We need to be at Braehead Arena for 6.45pm so was going to grab food in the City before grabbing a taxi up there. Are there any buffet type places in near St Georges Square? We do like Cosmo but looks like this is far away?

There’s a cook and indi’s World buffet on Renfield street, so less than a ten minute walk from George square.

China Buffet King on Bath Street
Or cook and indi ‘s world buffet on Renfield Street.

Failing that - Pizza Hut at Braehead has the salad buffet

Ive now been told by DH thaty we wouldnt have enough time so we now have to head to the Arena area for 5pm and eat there - so what is around the arena area at Braehead please?

I was going to ask say it's a bit of a hike from city centre to Braehead especially at that time of night (if during the week).

If you go to intu Braehead there are loads of chain eating places.

There's also loads of places to eat in the main shopping centre. You enter the arena from the shopping centre, so try there
