I was breaking eggs into a jug and had just cracked one when someone knocked on the front door. Did I a) put down the egg and answer the door b) finish breaking egg into jug then open door or c) walk up the hallway clutching cracked egg so it broke halfway?

I'll give you a clue. Cleaning egg off a carpet ain't good.

What silly things do you do/have you done in a moment of inattention?

Picked up the oven gloves and carefully hung them on the hook.

I then opened the oven to take out the roast beef. Barehanded.

oh yes,
used oven gloves to remove the hot tray from the oven, put it carefully down, removed oven gloves and straighted its position barehanded - because it looked nicer straight.

Clesning out my polecats hutch , emptied his litter tray , put clean litter back in , put tray back in hutch put his food out , emptied his litter tray again , refilled it again and only when I picked the bin bag up and though hmm this is heaver than normal did I realise what is done

I've been at a cash point before the kiddies were arguing and it was a scorching day .I was rushing and beetroot faced so popped my pin in nothing happened so I tried again at this time there's a queue behind me I'm swearing like a trooper till I realised I'd put my Sainsbury's nectar card in the 2nd time and the first time I'd typed my oh pin in not my own.

Poured milk into my glass and then orange juice on my cerial.
I then stared at the cerial, poured the orange juice off down the sink and put on the milk.
I was very hung over.
