Treads school shoes

Hi, has anyone bought any Treads school shoes? If so would you recommend them? I was interested in them due to their 12 month indesctrictive guarantee (and ordering online so I don't have to go school shoe shopping ) thanks

I have had some delivered this weekend. DS hasn't tried them on as yet but I am impressed by the look and feel of them. Hoping that they fit as it will save £30 on his usual school school shoes

Thank you, I think I'll give them a try. We got through about 4 different pairs last year. As Ds feet don't seem to grow much it'll be brilliant if they are as tough as they're advertised as being

Just to update this if anybody is interested. Shoes were ordered, a bit clunky for DS but he's got used to them. The fronts are damaged and falling apart a little so I sent photos to Treads to see if they would be covered under their 12 month 'indestructible guarantee'.

The reply from Treads was 'In short, I don't think these would be covered. It's never an easy thing to explain, but this does look like excessive wear. On both shoes the damage is similar in that the toe looks somewhat destroyed. Under the guarantee we don't cover such excessive wear, so in this instance we wouldn't be able to offer a refund or replacement'

Just to be clear, they've not been worn excessively, although the damage on one shoe is quite bad.

The rest of the reply was pleasant with an apology and 10% off our next pair. I've declined this as I won't be ordering again. I expected a little more from a children's shoe with an 'indestructible guarantee'.
