I’ve bought a 2nd hand one and comes with a recipe book which looks rather dated.

But if you have one, would you mind sharing your recipes?

My favourite is pea and ham- spring onions, frozen petit pois, ham stock cube, few slices of ham and water.

Or butternut and bacon.

Or red lentil and red pepper and feta

I’m so dusting off my soup maker today....!!!

Oh, but I don’t use ‘recipes’ as such. Just bung stuff in. Great way to use up veg at the end of the week.

Never had one - what does it do that a pot, a stove and a blender do? (I have those!)

Urbanbeetler · 20/08/2018 10:04

Or don’t do, rather...

Here's my favourite recipe..... Red Thai Curry Soup.

Bag of Aldi's frozen Thai veg.
Jelly chicken stock cube.
Dessert spoon of Aldi's red Thai curry paste.
Small block of frozen ginger.
4 chopped garlic cloves. Frozen garlic if preffered.
2 small onions chopped.

Method:
Dissolve stock cube & curry paste in jug of about 200mls boiling water.
Gently saute onion, garlic & ginger on stove if Soup maker doesn't have saute function. Add to veggie mix.
Add stock & curry paste. Stir. Add water to minimum level.
Choose chunky setting from mode panel.
Eat as required.
