Total diet change from junk food to healthy - how long for the farting to calm down?

I've recently decided to completely change my eating habits for better health. Out with all the copious shit and in with fruit/veggies etc etc. But with this change has come tons of wind. I assume this is because I don't have enough of the right gut bacteria? And that they'll come along in time? Hmm Anyone got any ideas how long it takes for your body to adjust?

Watching with interest. No advice sorry but I'm the same. I've tried to eat more healthily in the past and experienced the same symptoms.
I have an apt with a dietician to discuss diet in October (as i have ulcerative colitis) so will discuss this then.

‘Slimming World farts’ as they are known in my circle are the deadliest things known to man. Our whole office knows when my boss is back on her diet because she seems incapable of holding in the noxious farts 🤢

I hope it’s a brief problem for both our sakes Grin

if you do the keto diet the weight will fall off and you won't fart..... ever!!

Probiotics might help to sort your gut flora out a bit?

Kefir might help, but not too much per day.

Don't go overboard on cabbage type things or their family.
