Woke up this morning covered in bites, initially thought some sort of biting insect but a friend mentioned they looked like bed bug bites - eek!
Much frantic googling later and evidence for is
- look similar to photos of bed bug bites
- woke up with them
Evidence against
- no sign of anything after lifting mattress taking off sheets
- sheets were clean on yesterday after being washed at 60
- i share a bed and partner is unaffected
- i spend a lot of yesterday gardening which included sitting/crouching in longish grass.
- we haven't travelled involving staying elsewhere for ages or had visitors
Wondering if there's any way I can rule out bed bugs for sure. I'm going to be really paranoid going to bed tonight.
