DS is really keen on physiotherapy with a view to specialise in strength and conditioning in the sports sector. He plays a particular sport and a coach has this role (although his degree was sports science rather than physio). He also attends a private physio with eye watering fees relating to a sports injury and again this line of work appeals to him.

My question is what would be the best route into this? He is thinking of physiotherapy degree and then MSc in Strength and Conditioning. The unis that offer this however seem to be ex polys/low ranking so I'm wondering how strong a qualification this is?

He is doing work experience in both NHS and private practice and is aware that he would need 3 years BY A experience before entering private practice.

Any advice welcome p lease. Also is it true that you walk into a job after graduation? Are jobs more available in London?

Would also like to know how easy/difficult it is to set up your own practice and how much you could potentially earn.
