What to put in this hamper?

My daughter finishes preschool next week. The staff have been wonderful and there's so many of them I couldn't possibly buy individual gift. I've decided to make a staff room hamper but I'm a bit unsure what to put in it!

So far I'm thinking...

Teabags
Coffee
Squash
Various biscuits (happy to have suggestions)

But then what..? Is that going to be enough?

I'd just get them a tin of biscuits to share, if anything. They no doubt receive tons of stuff from parents, and they probably have arrangements already for teabags.

As a teacher, I think it’s a lovely idea!
There are always weight watchers who won’t eat biscuits, so you could add fruit. Tube of crisps or tortilla chips?
And as a more permanent reminder, a few teaspoons. I’ve been in staffrooms over 30 years and there’s never a teaspoon when you want one.

Teaspoons! I'd never have thought of that!

I see what you're saying about gifts, but it's important to me to give more than a tin of biscuits. These ladies have been part of our lives (and many will remain in our lives in one form or another) since my oldest went to Preschool, so 5 years now. They do a fantastic job and we as a family want to acknowledge that. We figured that perishables was a better gift option than a framed print, for example.

Alongside this, we will be writing handwritten cards to the key staff who have had the most input into our children's care, and a more general one to the Preschool as well, as I know they are often the most valuable things to childcare providers.

I keep the cards with personal messages in them. I know a number of teachers who do.

A 'naice' soap handwash.

Hand cream!
