Anyone been to Royan in Aquitaine in France.

On the off chance anyone has been their for holiday. What is it like?

I've been as part of a tour of France camping holiday. It's lovely, VERY small from what I remember. Very quaint, so I'd plan this as a quiet holiday. Hope that helps

Yes I've been but was many years ago now. It was very nice from what I remember, we had a very sunny couple of weeks.

We’ve holidayed there twice in the last few years. We love it. Lots of glorious sandy beaches, DC friendly restaurants, large enough town to have decent supermarkets, good weather, beach clubs (if DC are old enough).

We went back as we’d been there in the 80s when I was little (happy, happy memories of Club Mickey).

It’s the first holiday dh and I had on our own for 15 years. Thanks for the comments. They really helped
