I think I’d probably go to London, but I’m not sure when as it’s had an interesting history.

My own graduation, to tell myself how to avoid fucking up from here on in!

titsbumfannythelot · 18/08/2018 21:27

Same as @Mumofboys95 or Ancient Greek or Roman times.

Also Manchester in the 1990s

Bella898 · 18/08/2018 21:29

The week of my wedding

mycatplotsdeath · 18/08/2018 21:29

Manchester in the 90's was fabulous

I would go back to Tudor times and be a Henry's court

Mumofboys95 · 18/08/2018 21:30

@titsbumfannythelot I'd love to go to ancient Egypt!! Especially would love to see a real life Egyptian mummification. It's so fascinating

elQuintoConyo · 18/08/2018 21:32

and I would have had sex with someone who became very famous ha ha

dudsville · 18/08/2018 21:35

As a woman? As a woman born poor? No where!

AdaColeman · 18/08/2018 21:36

Battle of Tewksbury, rescue Richard III and put a lance through Henry Tudor.

Or Battle of Actium, rescue Cleopatra and Marc Anthony and sink Agrippa.

Waterlemon · 18/08/2018 21:36

I’d spend the week with my Nan, to record her memoirs. She was shipped to London from Ireland at 12yrs old and always said her life story would be a best seller. Not sure if I would like to meet her as a young women or the older one I knew.

MissTulipan · 18/08/2018 21:40

Waterlemon - that made me cry, I’d love to spend a week with my late nan when she was younger, I miss her a lot.

Silvertap · 18/08/2018 21:41

Ooooh so many.

The point in time where Claire goes back to the 18thC and meets Jamie.

Ancient Egypt. I'd LOVE to meet Hatshepsut.

The Roman Empire

Imagine meeting Aristotle.

Richard III and Anne Neville.

Silvertap · 18/08/2018 21:43

Love the idea of seeing my Granny in her youth. My great grandmother had 8 girls in a 2 up 2 down pre disposable nappies, CBeebies and supermarkets. How on earth did she survive.

My family have been farmers for as far back as we can find out. I'd love to sit with a table of the women of the last 20 generations and talk about how different our lives our but also about the similarities.

RogerAllamsFangirl · 18/08/2018 21:45

Ada Tewkesbury? Not Bosworth? I can't remember what happened at Tewkesbury.

I would go back to 1483 and see what went down at the time of Edward IV's death. Or investigate the murder of Edward V and Richard of York with the help of 21st Century forensics and investigatory techniques.

BigBlueBubble · 18/08/2018 21:47

I’d relive a holiday romance I had ten years ago. Would probably choose never to have met him because it was utterly heartbreaking and had a negative effect on my life afterwards.

AdaColeman · 18/08/2018 21:50

Roger Yes, you are right, I'm getting my battles mixed up, I'd be a hopeless time traveller on that evidence! Grin

Overthinkingagain · 18/08/2018 21:55

Back to Feb 2002 and not buy this sodding house, I'd tell myself to wait a little longer and buy the one I fell in love with in the next town over. There's too much to do on it now to think of selling and everything's out of our price range.

I'd not go back to any time in history though, life was pretty rough for women for a huge chunk of it unless you were rich.

gunnergirl · 18/08/2018 21:57

def 90 -91 best days of my life raving in London was best and big raves in fields also no mobiles or social media

claracluck78 · 18/08/2018 22:09

London 1851 & visit the Great Exhibition. See the world for a shilling & marvel at the wonders.
