Can I get a copy of an EHCP Application?

Hello. We get our first response from the LEA on Monday with regard to an EHCP application for our son. And although the school, Autism outreach, BOSS, Paediatrician etc etc all agree he needs on I'm not so naive to assume he will. Thinking about what I need to do regardless of their answer, I'm going to need to know what's in the application but I don't have a copy. I have the autism outreach report, school reports etc but nothing from BOSS for example and I don't know what the school put on his application form. Am I ok to just ask the school for it? Or will a copy be given to us? Anyone had any problem obtaining this info?

I'd ask the school for a copy. I've worked as a SENCo and I've always gone through the application with parents/carers. I can't imagine it would be a problem.

Ask school for a copy. If they refuse, you can do a subject access request for a copy of your child’s school file.

would they keep a copy on his school file? or just a record that they applied for one? I'm sure it won't be a problem, the Senco is lovely. I'm just anxious I think. Find out Monday :-/
