Can i machine wash Silver Pop buggy?

I've just bought a second hand one and it's filthy.
Can I take it apart to wash?
I've started unpoppering it but it looks hard and I have the fear, the back is like something from the Crystal Maze

I used to stick the seat from my maclaren in the machine, always came out looking great. If the hard plastic is part of the seat I'd probably opt to wash it in the bath. I have been known to jetwash the buggy that didn't come apart to wash.

Whatever you do, make sure that it's really really dry before you fold it, nothing worse than opening it up to find all your hard work has resulted in it going mouldy.

I ended up scrubbing and hosing it down in the garden.
I'm stunned that anything that involves grubby little child fingers isn't easily washable.
Madness.
