What's everyone up to today?

We're having a day at home today - went uniform and shoe shopping yesterday, and have a party tomorrow.

I want to clean and then mop through downstairs and get my washing out on the line when it eventually finishes (it's on hour two of a 1hr 12 min wash at the mo )

I might do my last few bits of prep for my Rainbows and Guides when we go back after summer too.

Don't think the girls are fussed about doing much; I've only seen dd1 when she came down for a cup of tea this morning & she's vanished into her pit again. Dd2 is mooching about with a unicorn teddy teaching it to fly .

Food shopping, 6 mile walk, football match and now home. Im about to light the fire. Its cold, windy, figgt, damp and im gonna be carb loading. I have a long run in the morning.

Older 2 are out somewhere with friends.

School starts on Monday. A year ten and a final year.
Final year just found out that she ought to have read some Dostojewski and Pushkin during the holidays.
Year 10 is on the PC doing something star trecky avoiding any thought of school.
The cat is asleep as usual, DH is working and I have nothing much to do for a change. So I am pottering about eating brownies.
